Lucas A. Scheer is a pioneer in securities and shareholder intelligence with more than 30 years’ experience. During his early Wall Street years with McCormick & Pryor, Ltd. and Georgeson & Co., Mr. Scheer developed an expertise in detecting and analyzing abnormal trading and ownership patterns in international equity markets. In 1994, he joined and managed Morrow & Company’s International Team in New York, where he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s overseas intelligence and proxy solicitation capabilities and business. In 1999, Mr. Scheer joined Acumen Partners LLC, where as Senior Vice President, he headed the firm’s global equity holder surveillance, corporate governance and proxy services.
A first-generation American, Mr. Scheer remains close to his European heritage and is fluent in the German language. His ability to relate to a diversified global client base has resulted in much of his success as an international investor relations consultant. Over the course of his career, Mr. Scheer has worked on numerous proxy campaigns and contests both in the U.S. and overseas, and is a specialist adviser to Asian markets. Mr. Scheer graduated from Long Island University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and furthered his training at the New York Institute of Finance and New York University.
